| DC, Philly, and NJ. Went for lawn on NJ, 9:30 will be my intimate show, NJ can just be relaxing, hanging with cool people, and drinking NJ is a good sign of what shows will look like if TGA actually reach the BIG level. Enjoy the venues like 9:30! Also kinda surprised no album release show ....... think ones going to pop up in the coming days/weeks/months? | |

| I think it's a pretty safe bet that they're going to add another show on 9/11 at 9:30 Club. They don't have a show that day, 9:30 Club doesn't have a show that day, 9/12 is a short distance away in Philly, and 9:30 Club pretty customarily adds second shows after the first show sells out. | |

You'd have to assume Gaslight is 90 minutes.
45 minutes each for the other 2 bands or 60 and 30? I don't reallycare for Jimmy Eat World but would much rather see them than Against Me who I pretty much can't stand. Interesting thought. Doors 7 Against Me 7:30-8 Jimmy Eat World 8:30-9:30 Gaslight 10-Midnight Gotta play 2 hours here.

| What happened to the Boston dates? Livenation says it's no longer in the database, based on a link I used earlier. I don't see it on their page either. | |

I'm stoked. Some of the people in Gaslight GA crowds make it very unpleasant to get close to the stage. This'll be as close as I've been since Radio City or Letterman. I did the same thing. We ended up in 102L over a few rows closer in 104. My wife is pretty short, so the idea of seats & getting to be pretty close is very appealing!

They aren't on their website either :/ or on the House of Blues site Since they are playing that show with mighty mighty bosstones this weekend it probably had to be removed (due to dumb distance clauses). It'll be back soon.

Also kinda surprised no album release show ....... think ones going to pop up in the coming days/weeks/months? I wouldn't be surprised if they announce an album release show much later on. Right now, they might figure the only chance they have at selling a bunch of tickets for this NJ show is to not announce any other shows in the area. Think about it. If they'd announced a NY/NJ album release at 5000 (or smaller) person venues and 2-3 more dates in those areas, wouldn't you hesitate to buy a $90 ticket to sit in a seat? Of course, I could be wrong and this could be all we're getting before they run away to Europe.

It'll be back soon. That's my hope as well. And that the dates stay the same. I am going to the show with the Mighty Bosstones and then Vermont on Sunday, I'll see if I can get an info and will report back. Public on sale for these shows was 06/27 from the start so perhaps fan club presale next Monday.

| I'm thinking of just getting lawn seats for PNC. That way I can just sort of chill instead of awkwardly dancing in front of a seat, and maybe I can even convince a few of my friends in the area to come with (and since the lawn definitely won't sell out they won't have to get their tickets right away). I definitely want GA for Philly though. | |

| They're gonna end up selling the lower sections and the lawn, and there's gonna be this awkward gap in the middle. | |

| Did the 930 club sell out to presale fan club? Cause that would be kinda awesome.
Used to be my favorite venue to see the guys, now I'm stuck living in Hawaii with no hope for a show.

If someone pays 800 bucks for a ticket to that show, they are a moron. I can't believe someone is actually asking for that much. Stub hub is unfortunately inevitable with most shows. Terrible but true.

although in my dream I was in the front... that's definitely not happening :/ I was at the Radio City Music Hall show and it definitely felt weird having an assigned seat. But by now they also have a much bigger catalog and I'd expect they'll be playing a set that will take the assigned seating into considerations. And there is the benefit of not lining up! It's interesting because they could have created a standing only/pit area in the front. I also like the Dropkick Murphys who typically play General Admission clubs but once in a while they'll so a seated show. I prefer the GA shows overall but the occasional seated show is a nice change as well.

And having a place to sit until the show starts will be wonderful. But I definitely would rather deal with the inconveniences of a GA show 9 times out of 10.

Actually they can't. All of the amphitheater acts that always have pits in the front (Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Springsteen) didn't have one at PNC. I guess they just can't move those seats. I'm sure Gaslight would have gone with that arrangement if it was an option.
