It's strange to feel pride for something like cheese. I've been brainwashed.

Sarah, one of the things I've learned from growing up in a place like Sweden is that if you have the opportunity to take pride in something, you grab it. I find myself shedding patriotic mantears over such trivial things as Swedish meatballs and IKEA constantly.

I talked to some Swedes the other night, they were pretty lovely people. And had some ridiculously tight pants and leather vests on.

I never did look for my photos of Stockholm. Will try to remember!

Maybe someday people in my town will take pride in knowing they are from the same town I grew up in

Leather vests? Damn. I know people generally tend to think Swedes dress in a whacky fashion but even leather vests are pretty extreme.
