| Not much, I was going to go hang out with a friend tonight but I had work from 8-6 and then I worked out right after so I am beyond tired. I didn't think it was safe to drive with the sleepiness and storms going on right now. I am just listening to Banner Pilot. I found out about them yesterday and love them, 2 of their cds are already in my collection. What are these festivities you speak of? | |

| Haha yeah I used to be huge into Alexisonfire. Probably around the time Watch Out! dropped. I heard everything after that was a bummer though.
Sometimes I miss those screamo/post-punk middle school days.
& tomorrows festivities consists of some serious labor day weekend drinking. can't let a holiday go to waste.

I'm not crazy on "punk" in general for that matter. I realize they aren't what alot of you punk studs would consider "real punk", but regardness... I get it. I really only bothered checking for them for Dallas Green's hooks..lol. Sidenote, Paddy I think you may be an alcoholic.

| I think these guys are pretty awesome.

I hope they tour with Gaslight Anthem the next time GA comes to my town.
Paddy....an alcoholic?....haha. Man, I need a drink, I think my last drink was 2 days ago if I remember correctly. For some reason I have been drinking a lot these last 2 weeks. Though, I think that may be because of school starting again and having to deal with other "School" problems. There is a little shitty bar 2 minutes away from my campus. A buddy of mine and I have been going there after classes at 3 and drinking a couple pitchers. Can't be good on the liver.

I was thinking about that today. I think the problem is it lacks a certain character. All the other albums had their own thing that made them unique, but Handwritten is just kinda generic rock. It's got a bunch of amazing songs but nothing really stands out like on the other albums. Brian said he's a corn flakes kinda guy, which is good. But certainly, he could have sprinkled a little maple syrup on the cereal. Or at least some sugar. Hell, maybe even both. I agree with you. The tingling of ballsacks has perished.

I agree with you. The tingling of ballsacks has perished. Honestly, I just find most of Handwritten dull. I don't mind Gaslight's slow songs, but that seems to make about 75% of this album, and not all of them are top notch. I need some upbeat music I can dance to. If they played a full set of Handwritten at a show, I'd be bored to death. - Try Me wrote:

Though I've also been a little more broke than usual.

| So, how many beer cans did y'all smash on your foreheads last night? I smashed about 10 and a half. I cut my forehead open quite a bit so I decided to keep drinking but quit smashing. Geez, why do I do the things I do? Argh........I also wore a tunic but realized it wasn't a frat costume themed party. I felt like such a jabroni!!!!!! Well, I think I will go pop my collar on my polo, get some natty, and wear some plaid shorts in the rain. | |
