srsly, live it up while you can!

I' ll do that (hopefully). Am I right that you were not allowed to drink until you're 21 in the US..?

I agree with Steph and Beth, live it up while you're still really young. Time flies by! #NotOldJustOlder

Yep, you're right! 21 is the legal drinking age. You can join the military, go to war, and die for your country at 18, but you can't have a beer! Rolling Eyes

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!!! Shocked Wow, your story sounds a lot like mine. My cousin's husband was in the Navy, so when he was deployed, I stepped in. There was a very serious situation two years ago where I almost got custody of the kids, and that would have been the best thing for everyone, but it didn't happen. My cousin can't handle anything when it comes to the kids, so then she gets abusive. But...the state of VA and now the state of TX don't have strict enough laws and the children won't be removed unless things get worse. I live in fear for them. But if anything does happen, I'll get the kids. They will NOT go into foster care.
So sad! I feel the same way, I would take my sister's kids if it ever came to that. But I never wanted kids so I don't know that it would be the best for everyone, but that's just me being selfish Crying or Very sad I know I would treat them better and also be a sane person for them, which is what every kids deserves.

Shocked Shocked That's really strange. We're allowed to drink everything 'til 5 percent of alcohol at the age of 16, everything else at 18..

Oh silly me, I forget sometimes! I'm just a bubble-headed girl, and it's hard to think sometimes. My sincere apologies!

it's not your fault you were born with a vagina instead of brains Hug

Hug Thanks, Steph. That makes everything seems okay. I think it does, I mean. UGH, I need a man to help me solve this equation.

well why don't you ask whichever penis-owner that gave his permission for you to be on here in the first place??

...he doesn't know I'm here...please don't tell him Steph! Please!! bounce

like i would ever do that?! i mean, if i was smart enough to figure out how to... scratch

you'd have to write a letter of some sort...? Right? But I don't think you could mail it. It'd be too dangerous. You'd get lost on your way to that box you put the letters in

Aw, I'm sure you'd be fine because you obviously love them and want the best for them. It's just such a tough position to be in, especially when you're powerless to change things. I hate that! I have always wanted kids more than anything, so it was never a question that I would take the kids if anything happened to their parents. I've been there for them since birth, I've gone through everything with those kids, and I'd die for them. I miss them. Sad

I hope you get to see them soon, but maybe not with their mom! I really just can't wait for my niece and nephew to get older so they can understand that most of what my sister says isn't true. I'm looking forward to them being adults just so they won't live with her anymore and I can go visit them and she won't be there! They're 7 and 2 so it's going to be a long time.
