I've never really got into Lucero. Everytime I read sth. 'about them in this forum , people describe them like legends ...I hope that makes sense, I'm at least a little drunk

Work will keep me occupied and that's probably what I need right now. I finally got around to sending a fairly blunt response to the girl so we'll see what she has to say.

That's true, sometimes it helps if you can just keep busy so you dont think about stuff. Good for you for being straightforward with her. She doesn't know what she's losing with you. You're one of the good guys! It's her loss, you're too good for her, and you deserve someone who will appreciate you. I still want to punch her in the face.

Yep, that makes sense. I'm new to Lucero, I've only been listening to them for a couple of months, but their music is fantastic. Tennessee is my favorite album, then 1372 Overton Park. The lyrics are great and the music is really good. Some of the songs have just torn me up at certain times.

Mike, after you give yourself a few days (or weeks), listen to "Nights Like These". That song kills me in a good way.

I once went to a Lucero show, but I went to see the opening band and I left before Lucero. It was at the Middle East and I wasn't in the front row, so what was the point?

You're welcome, and I mean it. There are a lot of jerks out there (I'm talking about guys, but girls can be jerks too, obviously!), and I know you well enough to know that you aren't one of them.

Haha, basically! It's the lyrics. I relate to the songs a lot, and if Brian and Ben shared a stage, I would just die. Too many emotions, I wouldn't be able to take it. But I still hope it happens!

That's how I felt seeing Dave Hause and Brian together. It was enough that Dave was opening, but seeing them together on American Slang was the greatest 3+ minutes of music of my life. There's no topping Dave & Brian. I have a serious Dave Hause problem.
