hello all!

I also know nothing about Springsteen. I've tried songs here and there but have never listened to a whole album. Jay-Z and the Bee Gees I get from my mom, but she's not into Springsteen.

Hip Hop certainly isn't for everyone. However, I'm pretty sure your knowledge of Jay's catalog goes as far as a couple singles you heard on the radio/bar/club. He's actually got quite an impressive discography, from 1996-2003.

Hip-hop isn't something in a steady rotation for me, but it's certainly got a LOT of gems hidden in the rough. Was jamming hard to some Snowgoons, Wu-Tang, and Cunninlynguists today.

Can't say I've heard te new. Kno is seriously one of my tops for sure. Probably only second to Stoupe, but I can't really dig on Vinnie. I'll have to check out their new stuff though.

I try to keep an open palate. Anything from Sunn O))) to Bee Gee's to Springsteen, haha.

Kno dropped a solo album last in 2010 called 'Death Is Silent', as well. I'd put up right up there with some of CL's best work. You'll def wanna hear that too. You know what, I actually haven't heard a Springsteen album. What would be a good place to start ?

I'd say anything pre Born in the USA. His best stuff is with the E Street band for sure. I dig his later stuff to but I don't know if I'd recommend it to jump into. Born to Run or Darkness on the Edge of Town would be my picks.

How long have you lived in the South? I've been here since 1996 and I definitely am 100% CA girl. But I still think Lucero is fantastic. I hate 99% of country music, but their twangy rock doesn't bother me at all. I love them.

Gotcha! I remember saying that about reading for my AP U.S. History class. I would do the reading sometime after 2:00 since my insomnia would be hitting full force, and then I'd be up at 6:30 for school. It's weird how I've been able to survive on such little sleep for so long!

So what are you up to tonight? No cupcake parties?

Nothing really. I'm meaning to edit more video, but the computer I edit on is in-use.

Haha, okay! I just can't get used to the South. I have more of a West Coast mentality for sure. I can see why your mom would still be stuck on Staten Island. This place isn't for everyone. Not that I HATE it, but it's just... different.
