from his mother's side. everyone in her family had freakishly small ears, they were in a travelling freak show. scientists think it was caused by inbreeding

There's Steph's story, which is more amusing.
Or the fact that in the earplugs thread, I mentioned I have small ears...and it gets really bad every 6 months or so

Oh seriously, my dad was recently visiting and giving me some family history. He said our ancestors were circus people. I was not amused. (I also have small ears, but I'm just petite, it's not a circus thing .)

It was a wrestling convention show, and he just got over-come with the emotion, and wanted to thank the guys.
A hand-shake would have done. I've actually met that guy, really nice and humble guy.

Gah, I just asked my friend to be sure the party was today. I have a total nervous complex when it comes to parties, I need to know every single exact detail before I'm comfortable.
"Mary I worried and stalled every night of my life, better safe than making the party" applies far too well.

Haha yes.
No.
Because my ears are so small, it means the tubes and stuff are smaller etc. So stuff like wax buildup happens more often due to not been able to break up as easy, it causes a lot of dizziness, headaches etc. It's not too bad I guess, and it's usually June/Jan, so at least I'm ready. The main advantage is...I fecking love getting my ears syringed...it's the most amazing feeling ever.

. I'm with you. Just think, it's always better to go to a party than to throw a party, as far as nerves go.

aww, no fun. it's crazy how much having a problem with your ears can affect you!
you're making me want to go clean my ears out now only i can't use Q-tips, so i usually use something really sharp and pointy, not very smart

I'm the same way! I don't like not knowing what to expect. And that was the perfect quote! That line goes around and around in my head a lot.

Neither is Q-tips though, they are just as dangerous, as a lot of particles of the cotton gets left behind, and can cause as much damage.
I've always had problems with my ears, but nothing severe, I had vents in my ears as a kid, that was a strange sensation.

Oh I agree that's the most nerve-racking experience ever. I've been trying to plan a pool party every year since 8th grade and I always get crushed under the stress of picking who can come, food, fun, etc. I always just assume no one will have any fun anyway and just never get started on the party
