Yeah, I dunno. Just with all the places getting the cd early and emails saying they are sending out them early.....i don't see any reason we wouldn't get it before release day.

A review in a Belgian magazine (Humo) gave Handwritten 3 out of 4 stars (not bad, because they don't give high ratings very easily). They also wrote that "Brian Fallon does not like The Pixies and is proud of owning all Blink-182 albums" (part of a negative introduction). Anyone who was a recollection of an interview with Brian saying that?

I'm sure this was already mentioned, but how do we know that just because it will be in stock in 7 days they will ship it in 7 days? Isn't there a chance they wait till release day?

Interpunk usually ships albums a few days before the release date, whenever they get them in stock. So if they do get them in on Wednesday next week, I would think they would start shipping that day or the next.

I"m making the decision right now: I'm not listening to this album until I have it in my hands. This is an incredibly difficult statement for someone who has searched "gaslight leak" and "gaslight anthem handwritten download" on twitter and google every few hours for the past week. I've spoiled myself more than I intended to initially and so because of that I really am gonna try and wait till I have the album.

Pretty shocked this thing hasn't leaked yet. The industry seems to be getting better at keeping things under wraps.

Don't think it'll leak until after they finish up with their stumble-upon previews. But I wouldn't be surprised if it does sometime between the 17th and its European release date.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't leaked yet either, however I have a feeling that it will leak this weekend at some point.

For those places able to get the album on 7/20, does anyone know if those of us from the US could get it that day too if we went through itunes and switched the country to one of those where it's released 7/20? That would be so cool!

Another question. Does anyone know if the bonus track Teenage Rebellion will be made available on the UK iTunes as it's not showing up yet?

I think I've been posting this here, but for US buyers, Amazon just cut the price of the deluxe and the vinyl. Deluxe is down to $13.88 and the vinyl is $13.99. If you have prime/use Two-Day shipping, they will get it to you on release day (or sometimes a day earlier). Just a note for those of you looking to save a few bucks.

Yes, actually a lot of albums I preorder on iTunes I've gotten early as 11.

So how many countries get the album in the 20th? I tried to look but couldn't find an answer.

I think that works but for itunes you'd also need an account (incl. a credit card or a voucher) in that country if I'm not mistaken. Yoou could try if it works on amazon. Here's the link to the mp3 download on the German site.

Thanks for posting this! I'm not as familiar with digital music, so this helps. I'll definitely give it a try. So Amazon doesn't require you to have an account to download mp3's? As for itunes, are you saying that if I already have a US account, I wouldn't be able to simpy switch the country icon at the bottom of the page to download from another country........I'd have to open another account in that country? It would be nice if my US order came early......as in like any day from now till Friday!
