True about places for the most part being closed unless they're retail (I don't think online retail counts).

Thanks, yeah that's pretty much what I thought I was just hoping maybe from the picture of the product I'd be able to tell if there's like 10 photos or like 50.

I am buying the El Jefe deluxe CD set. I need to start getting gaslight posters/

I think the price will be the deciding factor for me.

I reckon $35-40

$35-40 for the book and deluxe cd would be a pretty good deal. I'd go for that...

Saying as the deluxe cd seems to be coming packaged with the book, I'm hoping it's around that price.

Looks to me like the only El Jefe bundle that's gone is the one with the LP. You can still get the CD or Deluxe CD bundles...

C'mon guys , hurry up...beginning to think that everybody who has to organize the pre-order is on already on vacation

I wonder who is responsible for putting it up. If the band has to give the go ahead right before they do it then we might be waiting a few hours since they're in california where it's 6am. and i don't think any of them are early risers.

I'm happy to wait for tomorrow.

Dumb question, did I miss somewhere that this was definitely supposed to go up for purchase today or is this just speculation?

In any event, if they wait any longer it's hardly going to be a pre-order with the slow service of the USPS.

I doubt the band gives the go-ahead. It's probably someone at the label, if anything...

I say it's been out of the bands hands, a long, long time ago. This isn't the indies now.

I would say too. But whoever is responsible for marketing at Mercury is not very good at his job ... and I know a tiny bit of marketing

Honestly think that as long as they get their standard cd out, then everything after it is an after-thought. The main stores won't bother with deluxe, super deluxe ... or whatever deluxe, as people don't buy them. The folks that will buy them are the proper fans, and as the deluxe is already out there, they must be figuring that with only 300 units of the super-deluxe to be made available, that they could easily put it on sale next week, or the day of release, and they still wouldn't be left with many copies the next day.

it's not so much that they are not good at their job...this happens a lot...some bands get signed and get marketed like nuts and get all kids of attention from the label, but so many bands get crapped on. Which seems like the case here.

I didn't mean that Mercury isn't good at markeing but the person responsible for TGA marketing defintely is... And I'm not only talking about the deluxe boxes but also about how fragmented the info was they released ...
