'Handwritten' vinyl

The first pressing of Handwritten will be 10,000 (yes, ten thousand) and it will be on blue vinyl.

Not exactly rare!
Or /200 as were originally speculated.

Does 10,000 not seem excessive? Kind of makes me think this will be popping up in clearance bins in the near future. Don't take that the wrong way, I think this record will be great, I just think 10,000 is too much.

In comparison, what else has been released recently with those kinds of numbers?

I think the 200 always referred to the bundle (my guess).

Wow, I wasn't expecting it to be that high! I'm guessing we won't be expecting many variants for this album either then.

It does seem rather ambitious. I'd be curious to see the breakdown on sales of downloads/cd/vinyl for their last two albums.

Someone should've told the official store in advance though. Saying people might not get the blue lp with the bundle made it sound like this would be limited when it's anything but.

200 seems rather low. Maybe at some point Jeff can tell us how many posters were printed.

the blue vinyl becomes less exciting for me if there is such a high pressing. Coloured vinyl is still cool though..

Would be nice if it's a black vinyl or something...even though it says it is an US vinyl.

10,000? Damn, thats excessive.

When I picked up my copy of Elsie on red I got one with a severe warp in it and the record store had no problem finding me another one even though the album had been out for a while at that point, and that was limited to 1500.

I preordered early hoping to get something extemely rare, but I guess my copy of Social D's Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes with the signed poster will continue being the rarest thing in my collection. On the plus side, at least now I know I'm getting a blue copy. Blue records always look so damn cool.

Flight 13 have been known to get a lot of exclusive vinyl, so maybe, just maybe this is one of them?

I wish you could buy the &" on its own. Im not buying yet another copy. I'll try my luck on ebay or I will hopefully locate somebody on her who has two. Im broke with all these different bundles

I'm trying to establish the exact pressing details and if there's a US one as well, etc.

You can get this baby in the US if you fill out your address as "San Francisco, California, United States of America" and select your country as the UK. Their system will auto-correct it.
