I have an '02 Impreza, and it cost me about 7k used. But, I love it. It's a fun little sporty car and practical. Plus Subarus, like Hondas, are known for their great reliability and high mileage potential.

You should be able to get a really good used car in that price range. My aunt and uncle bought a new Honda Civic in 1990 and it's still going strong. My uncle drives it like, 500 miles a week to work and back, and they say it's the best, most reliable car they have ever owned. Before I bought my Mustang, I drove my dad's old Toyota Camry and it was really dependable too. I have a thing for American cars, but there are lots of good Japanese cars too.

I'm exhausted and I've only worked for four hours so far! I took the kids to the park and it's hot outside, like 83 degrees with no breeze at all. And it's only March! Sad

They are taking a nap now so I have a break, but I'm still working for at least another six hours. Looooong day!
