Pretty good! We had a big thunderstorm today with torrential downpours, so that was cool. And my mom said there was hail, but I was at gymnastics with the girls and I missed it! What a bummer. But the rain sounded so neat beating down on the metal roof of the gym. It sounded like bowling balls were falling from the sky.

i'm good! been working a bit and mostly hanging out with my mom the last couple days, going out to eat lots and shopping!

It's great that you have a job that gives you a lot of free time. Whenever I have company, it's really hard for me to take a day off. I have to ask months in advance and sometimes I don't get the day off anyway! Last year I only took 3 days off all year, and the year before that it was just one - my birthday. I am the best employee ever.

that's crazy! you really are a good employee. i'm surprised that they can't be a bit more flexible with your schedule!

it is nice to have time off, but it's at the expense of making any real money and having a real job!

i actually bought a lot! we went out to eat at this yummy vegan restaurant (it's like vegan comfort food, not super healthy food- i had a burger and "wings" ) then i bought the new Sharks record, a cute top and skirt from Urban Outfitters, flat irons, hair dye, and i got a new purse today! i never buy that much stuff in the span of two days!: we're probably just going to go out to eat a lot whenever my brother is free to come over, play games, go out for cocktails, etc.

no, i think it was seitan or something. it's not like you'd confuse it with a beef burger, but it's much better than you are imagining.
my family asked me where i wanted to go out to eat for my last birthday, and that's the place i chose, and they generally thought the food was good.

yeah, it is nice! i needed some new stuff. plus i got to dye my hair, i feel like myself again with dark hair!

my mom has found a lot of card games that we play- Blink, Phase 10, Ruckus, etc. maybe some Backgammon. i like games that are quick over most board games.

No harm done. I work in customer service. I do the work of at least 5 people for the pay of half a person and get the pleasure of dealing with adult tantrums a lot. At least most of the people I work with are cool. Shannon HATES my job.

ahh, i can imagine, i've had plenty of experience working in retail, it's not the same, but i can relate to dealing with people all day! i can't take that kind of job anymore, i get too affected by other people's moods. like a great customer can put you in a good mood for awhile, but a jerk can really ruin your day.
