| Hmm... Okay. I thought "laging" meant laughing or something. Shows how much I know I guess.
But, yeah, now I'm just confused. That lion looks like he wants to bite someones head off!

But, I will admit, that lion does look like a pretty cute little guy. You just gotta be good at taming wild beasts. (Which I can't say I'm an expert at...but if I was, I bet that lion and I would be great friends!) Although, that depends, is it an African lion or an Indian lion?

| Random question-
What do you guys do for food on concert nights? Do you eat beforehand? My nerves are so crazy that I basically eat next to nothing until after the show.

| Eat before hand, and then maybe after if I'm hungry, at home. Usually venue food is over priced. | |

| He was awesome! He opened for Dropkick Murphys. I'm going through the photos now and will be writing it up. He sang a new song that I really liked- it might be called Four Simple Words but I'm not sure. I thought he was saying "I just wanna dance" or something but the sound was wacky where I was (off to the side again, which is where you stand when you don't want to hear anything intelligible apparently). The crowd was responding well, so that made me happy for him. He successfully got them all to sing "Photosynthesis" and "I Still Believe." "If Ever I Stray" has become a favorite for me and so I was psyched he sang that. A couple of the Dropkicks came up- the bagpipe dude and the banjo guy. As much as I listen to FT I still don't know all the songs, so I've got to get to downloading! Same with Chuck- I don't have EVERY song, but I need to! This crowd was also super drunk. But not as drunk as Lucero's. I don't think any crowd can beat that one (the night before New Year's Eve and people were celebrating early I guess!). | |

I watched this video and had to laugh because it's the only time I've seen them play a song where Brian is trying not to laugh during the song. haha
Hmm... I usually eat before, yeah.
Frank Turner? Sweet! NO WAY! DROPKICK MURPHEYS??! I'm so jealous. They're amazing live!

| That is awesome. Where did that come from!? http://vimeo.com/242297 I hate that the sound isn't synched. I wish I was at this! Dropkicks were really good Oh- I had a photo pass tonight. Actually to be honest I didn't see as many cameras up in the air as I normally do. Maybe the crowd was too inebriated to think of filming anything! | |

| Oh and hey, here's a secret: You're not allowed to use flash in the photo pit. Somehow I hit the button on my camera by accident and the flash went off in the Dropkick Murphys lead singer's face. It only happened that one time, but I wanted to die. Yeah I'm a photographer | |

| I shoot for my Examiner page, but I'm trying to learn about taking portraits. Been going to seminars and workshops having to do with lighting.
What kinds of things did they focus on in a formal setting? The things I go to are like, 2 hours and then that's it.

| Ha. You saw TGA at the Wellmont in NJ too? Small world. Yeah, that was a great show. I loved the 5 or 6 song encore...
Still jealous you saw DKM... When I saw them they played Kiss me I'm s***faced, and all the girls got up on the stage with them. It was pretty priceless.

| Well I was in the pit for the first 5 songs at Asbury and then I was way off to the side (Alex R's, by the seats). For THC I was in front of Alex R again, up by the stage. Where were you? I saw Dropkick last year too. He went out into the crowd instead of bringing up everyone- forgot why he did that though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/starstruck76/5540475393/in/set-72157626149787745 EDIT: The Wellmont show was pretty much life changing. I had only seen them open for Rise Against where I think they weren't themselves (I think someone had just passed away or something?!) and then the Brooklyn Bowl show, where I was so new to them I didn't even know Sink or Swim existed. But that Bowl show was the one where I was like "OK I am down for these guys." By the Wellmont show I was all caught up on their catalog and was in love | |
