| I'll second that. Dublin is awesome, but very expensive... | |

| Didn't have a drink in Koko as it was too much hassle to go to the bar but the pubs around the venue were charging about £3.50 - £4.00...the Wheelbarrow was the cheapest and was filled with such celebs as Beans On Toast and Frank Turner's guitar tech who were both propping up the bar watching the match.
Finally met Luckyman in the Lyttleton beforehand and had a good chat with him...top bloke
...Missed the beginning of the set as my mate and his girlfriend got into London late and I had their tickets...the first time in 17 gigs that I'd missed the band walking on stage...very annoyed about that
The band played their usual blinding set and are really looking confident and comfortable onstage...it's like watching early U2.
another top night out | |

...and cheaper. Pretty much anywhere is cheaper than London! I paid £6.60 for a can of Red Stripe and the smallest bottle of water I think I've ever seen. Reminded me of why I don't usually buy drinks at venues!

| Been depressed since Tuesday morning after Monday night's show.
What's the story about Brian leaving straight afterwards by limo?

Really regretting not asking Alex R for a picture but he looked like he was enjoying the football too much.

| Well I caught him about 20 mins before showtime so I guess he had other things on his mind - also noticed he'd changed from a strat to an SG. | |

Yea I'll probably nip in the Oyster Bar for a cheeky pint before PJ, depending on when I can finish work. The Samuel Smiths lager they do is pretty nice too and a bargain. Prices at the MEN are also annoyingly expensive. If I remember correctly its about £4 for a 500ml plastic bottle of Carlsberg. |

Hollie wasnt there from what I saw. Security got someone to have the taxi door opened for him and he fast walked past. Shook a couple hands and got in the taxi, said he had a flight to catch and he was sorry. Can't have been that sorry otherwise he'd have said hello to the fans by coming out 10 mins earlier. Anyway I guess he maybe had a few promotional things to do during the next day that he had to be there quicker than the rest of the band but Im speculating.
