European Tour - Summer 2012

Just ordered a ticket for Zurich. Anyone else going?

I plan to travel from the UK to at least one of there european headline dates, this being the only one announced so far I may be going to this, however I am just waiting to see what they announce to fill in the big gap they have. If they announce some other headlining shows somewhere else in europe i will decide which destination I want to go to most

but they went to werchter last year ...

And the year before that, so I very much doubt it... Although we did have Kaiser Chiefs 5 times in 6 years

I think we have a better chance of seeing them in Dour (mid-July, they were there in 2009 as well) or Pukkelpop (mid August). Would prefer that, actually!

don't get me wrong, I loved the place and even made some friends at the Shelter but I just don't have the money this year

I completely understand. Some friends of mine don't ever want to go there again, just because of the painful memories of that day. I'd never go that far though, just hope it doesn't happen again

yeah I can see why, me and my friends were okay but a man we met at the hotel we were at was seriously injured, it was really terrible!
I am sure it'll be okay this year anyway

I don't know if it'll be the same though, especially if the people who want their money back win the lawsuit... In that case, the festival's future might be very uncertain. Can't understand how you can think about money after a day like that.

Hope that London show is not the only UK date. What about us in the north?

I'm also hoping it's not the only UK date. It's the Monday after Download festival, so if I do go to Download it's going to be a mission! A Norwich date would make my year, can't see it happening though!

looking at the dates so far, I'm getting the impression they're doing a quick tour through Europe this summer then will do full tours for America/Canada/Europe/UK/rest of the world etc. afterwards.

I hope they don't do a lot of festivals before the album is actually out. To be honest I want to hear the new songs first before I hear them played live. I think it takes a lot away from the album when you have heard the songs live weeks or months in advance.

Another festival date in Sweden that was not yet on this board I believe
