Jimmy, you are making me depressed. Speaking as someone who has a few years on you, has "spent my whole life a little less up than my downs", and is also single, let me cue you in on a little secret. No one else is going to make you happy. You have to find that happiness in yourself, and yes,it can be hard, but you are worth it and you owe it to yourself to improve your life. Find things you enjoy doing and do them, alone or with someone else. Learn something new, volunteer, write something, paint, anything productive. It will take your mind off of your worries and you might start having fun and discover that you can be happy on your own. No girl is going to be automatically attracted to a guy who hates himself, but a guy who loves life and has self esteem, those are great qualities that can make a person stand out in the best way.

To say you hate yourself makes me so, so sad. Your life is a gift and it can be over in the blink of an eye. Don't waste it being depressed over something you have the power to change - your happiness.

That's basically what I was aiming to say but you've put it into words so much more eloquently.

Think happy thoughts, Jimmy. The easiest way to cheer yourself up is to trick your brain into thinking it is happy, and you will actually feel happy. As stupid as it sounds it does work.

The old you and the new you are the same person, just different sides. You need to focus in the newfound optimistic side, and since I am a total pessimist, I know how hard that is, but you have to try.

Heres something jimmy, what do you do. What are goals in your life. (other than dating/girls) Focus, on those things, and you'll be a lot more happier.

On the way back, we were lucky to catch the bus because some little punk refused to get off it. He didn't have any money to pay for it but still he wouldn't leave until the police came over and took over. So that was exciting!
