Very impressive! You really should post some of your music in the Other Bands section. Man, there are some talented people on this forum!

| I've noticed in your recent posts you've been hyping up these lyrics and band of yours. I can see why. Those are great! | |

| Sorry - really dont mean to hype anything and not looking to piggy back off anyone at all.
Here is my thing:
I am a big fan of The Cult whose recent stuff lyric-wise has been stripped down which is my natural way of writing.
However, Brian Fallon, among other people, has shown the way to flesh stuff out bit more which I'm trying to embrace.
But again, I'm not here to hype myself - I'm 38 and it's just the music and words for me.
However, everyone here is super-friendly which is just great seeing as I am a latecomer!

| And if I'm honest even though I got into the band for American Slang, I was aware of them before that.
But it was the Horrible Crowes record that really triggered something in me - cheers Brian and Ian!
Everything I ever said to you, I was only talking to myself, And the words just kept on coming, Til my throat was knotted bone.

Don't worry I didn't mean "hype" like that, was struggling for a word to use when I posted that response, but seriously if you do have more lyrics please do post them. Also I always thought I was the only person to think this, but I thought, even though it is more recent, Born Into This by The Cult was their best work, which as I'm sure you know is not always the case for bands that have been around for 25+ years.

Me thinks Brian Fallon has created an alter-ego to use on the forum by the name of Steve70's. HI BRIAN!

| No offence with the word 'hype' - none taken at all.
But I hope to be on this here forum for a while - not just for my own gains.
How many regular posters would you say there are? I wanna get to know everyone!

How many regular posters would you say there are? I wanna get to know everyone! Rough guess would be 40 or so regular posters, but that'll increase over the next few weeks as the news about the new album comes through, so enjoy the quiet while you can. The best way to get to know people is the spam thread, although be warned it is a very confusing place and once you enter, you cannot leave.

| For what it's worth I am really excited about hearing the final production of the album by Brendan O'Brien. Having listened to Heartbeat and The Fighter from the Fray's upcoming album (O'Brien's latest project) I really like the way the songs sound and I feel they sound bigger than their songs on previous albums. I cannot wait to hear the end product | |

I just keep coming back to that iTunes session.

I just keep coming back to that iTunes session. That could quite possibly be the best album ever! I would love to see this new album made up of songs sounding like grittier, gravelly combinations of The Queen of Lower Chelsea, Bring It On, and The Spirit of Jazz, my favorites from AS. I don't know if that makes any sense or not, but I can hear it in my head and it sounds amazing, haha.
