| what i think the best part of these lists (other than the fact that many of them have "she loves you" which is beautiful) is that they aren't all from one album or one project this thread is a real testament to fallon's abilities as a performer/songwriter. it's strange in this era of Max Martin pop and dramatic singer-songwriters that someone like Fallon isn't considered a songwriter in the same vein Ryan Adams, Justin Townes Earle, etc | |

| 1. 59 Sound 2. Bring it on 3. Blood Loss 4. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues 5. I Witnessed a Crime.
The top three picks there I feel are pretty stable, 4 and 5 could be many things

| 1. Old White Lincoln 2. Spirit of Jazz 3. Crush (Totally under rated personally) 4. Behold The Hurricane 5. 1930
This is tough cause I truly love every TGA album and Elsie was amazing. Even TCM and CCR have gems on them.

| 1. Go Tell Everybody 2. Backseat 3. Navesink Banks 4. Great Expectations 5. Bring It On
A different list, I know. I love all of his songs but those 5 really speak to me. Go Tell Everybody is so brilliant, especially the way he moderates his voice to sing final stanza. So much anger, and pain, and disgust. It gives me chills every time I hear it.

| 1. Bring It On/Crush 2. The Diamond Church Street Choir/American Slang 3. The Patient Ferris Wheel/Even Cowgirls Get the Blues 4. Ladykiller/Great Expectations 5. The Spirit of Jazz Yet it's nearly impossible for me to make such a list, this one might change drastically within the next 30 seconds. | |

| Ok, here's my stab.
1. 1930 (surprised it was not in more people's top 5. that's what make TGA great. ) 2. Old White Lincoln 3. Boxer 4. Wherefore Elvis 5. Backseats
Honorable: Blood Loss, Contender and T59S
But tomorrow I could have a different top 5...

- Hi, hope this question hasn't been asked before . Anyway, if you took all of Brian's various lineups into account, what are your Top 5 favorite songs, in order, that he's written? Just interested to see other people's picks! There's a lot of great ones to choose from.
but remember, where TGA songs are concerned, the band has had considerable input into the songs as we know them, so listing TGA songs as Brian Fallon top 5s is a little tricky
