| Maybe something like...."We rebuild things...But the memories always remain to either haunt us, comfort us, or anger us." That could mean, Buildings, lives, relationships, even friendships. | |

| I must admit that I'm not keen on the title. Maybe if it was for a Brian Fallon acoustic album, but not for a rock album. And try saying it. 'Handwritten' sounds slooooow. Maybe it'll grow on me. But the label must have approved. | |

Labels do like generic titles that aren't hard to remember.

please stop talking, i like you, the Fred Durst shit is coloring my perspective, i'm trying so hard not to see his ugly mug, but give me some help here, girl... I'm sorry. I had a weakness for him for unknown reasons. Still in my "I like bad boys/douchebag" phase back then I guess.

Well they were good live. If they came out now I probably wouldn't like them. But they somehow hit the spot at the time.

| guys, can you keep the thread focused, please; I know there's all this chummy chat going on on the forum, and that's great, but for people who just come on here to read comments on the new album, wading through post after post of non-related chat by chummy forum members is off-putting; ok?

I was thinking the same thing! Doesn't sound like a title for a rock album...especially when Brian said the sounds were a little more edgy than the last two albums.

| Well I just remember him saying that he wanted to maked a Heart of Gold sort of song and then amke it like a gaslight song, whatever that means, it may be able to lend itself to the title Handwritten. | |
