Not even. Such an acquired taste. What about Twin Peaks? Most people that hate his movies at least kinda like that show.

Even though this is the movies thread, Twin Peaks is worth your time. One of the best TV dramas ever. Its a shame that the network cancelled it because of Lynch's shenanigans.

david lynch is an acquired taste. Twin Peaks rules

as for his movies the only one I've seen is Lost Highway...and I like the concept behind it more than the actual movie.

Eraserhead and Blue Velvet are excellent movies by Lynch as well.

Everyone should go see Wes Anderson's latest, Moonrise Kingdom. Movie is absolutely spectacular. Movie is still in limited release right now but should be making its way to more cities soon. I loved it.

Camus, if You have a chance, You tube Butch Walker's video to 'synthesizers'. Matthew McConoghey reprises the Wooderson role. Really funny.

Last movie I saw in theaters was Promtheus. I enjoyed it. It really was visually stunning. Most sci fi movies I feel like I'm watching a video game but not Promtheus.

Who's going to see Abraham Lincoln Vampire Killer? The reviews I've read have said it's kind of stinky.

just saw "The Freebie"...it was good...and devastating.

it's about a couple who are so in love with each other and adore each other, but their sex life is fading, so they think maybe if they both sleep w/ someone else it will bring the spark back to their sex life, and all that entails...

I watched "Drive" for the first time last night (I'm a bit late on that I know haha). Very impressed with it, particularly the cinematography and soundtrack. A very stylish film.

The fact that Tim Burton produced it, give me enough of a reason to avoid it.

Nope, really can't stand the mans work. Think the only film, that I really enjoyed was 'Big Fish', his portrayal of Batman was decent enough, it was just his whole attitude to matters. He only seems to have one quality (omg..it's so quirky) that gets him through films, well, that and Johnny Depp.

He really does pander to the "gothic thirteen-year-old girl" audience a lot, especially when casting dreamboat Johnny Depp.I like one or two of the claymated movies (if only because I enjoy the medium of stop-motion animation) and I do like Beetlejuice, but everything else is "look how dark and spooky this is, isn't it weird and niche?"
