I absolutely cannot believe that they are playing Reggie's in Chicago. That place holds, what, 6 people? And you can touch the stage from the bar in the back?

yeah, the church is tiny as well. never seen them in that small of a place, should be insane.

I will officially be roadtripping to Chicago for the June 11th show! It's my buddy's birthday weekend, The Falcon is opening, and it's the "HISMSV" and "Anchors Aweigh" night! So perfect.

They ended up being $76 for each pass.

dammit missed all of the advanced tickets for boston. iron chic, screaming females one day and dave hause on the other? gotta pick those up tomorrow.

So off topic from the whole HTH shows (which I'm sad I don't live close enough to any of those cities...) does anyone else think it would be awesome if The Bouncing Souls took on Flogging Molly in a charity soccer/football match?

The Falcon are playing one of the Chicago shows. That is great news.

I believe the price is actually pretty equal. It was about $76 per pass. However, I am told that 4 day passes are now sold out, at least through one vendor... I had my husband grab ours and I haven't looked at anything after that.

Went and saw the last 2 nights in Cambridge and it was great. World/Inferno and Dave Hause with the souls playing anchors aweigh and summer vacation. Then last night was iron chic and make do and mend with the souls doing the gold record and ghosts on the boardwalk with b-sides. So awesome, can't wait to do the same thing again in Philly.

How was Chicago?

I'm going to the Good the Bad/Maniacal Laughter show in NYC. Can't wait.

I was just thinking that this summer marks the 17th anniversary of the first time I saw the Bouncing Souls. Although me and Brian are the same age, that makes me feel really old!!

THE ADVENT OF THE SEASON

The Bouncing Souls are pleased to
announce our 5th annual HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Once again we will be
settling in at our second home, The Stone Pony, in our beautiful
city-by-the-sea, Asbury Park NJ, for 4 fun-filled nights. This year's
festivities will be held on Tuesday, December 27th through Friday,
December 30th! 4-night passes and some single-night tickets will be
available through our very own Chunksaah website starting Tuesday,
October 18th. Tickets will be available through ticketmaster and The
Stone Pony Box office on Friday, October 21st!

Do you remember
having an advent calendar as a kid? (it's 2011, googlewiki "advent
calendar" if you don't know!) So fun and exciting, and such a great way
to build up the excitement for the HOLIDAYS season. We've decided to
bring back this sweet old-timey tradition and announce one support band a
day starting on December 1st! FUN! I bet you can't wait to see what we
have in store for you. Better get those letters off to the north pole.

They're supporting DKM in Dublin. Absolutely delighted. Never thought I'd get to see them.

This year alone, counting the upcoming HFTH, I'll have seen them 11 times....

Seeing them with Dropkick would be sweet though.

"Comet" Record Release Shows June 8th (Philadelphia) and 9th (NYC). Both shows with Cheap Girls and Static Radio NJ. Going to rule. Hopefully going to both. I am impressed with the new live songs I've heard, much better than Ghosts on the Boardwalk. Baptized being the best of the bunch, and the new single is also a winner.

*wishes he was close enough to the east coast to make one of the release shows* but yeah the new single sounds a lot more... modern for lack of a better word. But it still has enough of a Souls vibe to it that I don't mind =)
