just wanted to say that this band rules soo hard. somewhere in the between is awesome, i love it. i know a lot of people were disappointed by it but i thought it was fantastic. i hope they tour soon cause i really wanna see them again. they're definitely the only ska band i like, not that i've really listened to any others, but i just think they're wonderful.

This.

Ska used to seem amazing when I was 13/14 it just really just bores me now.

If anyone wants to suggest some Ska for me please do.

Dude, I know how you feel... I used to love ska more than anything... I have seen Less Than Jake play atleast 20 times (if anything, that is a low number). Then I became obsessed with punk and the harder the better... now I have really calmed down, I like well written lyrics and well annuciated singers with a good beat. ie The Gaslight Anthem and Against Me!

I'm getting pretty bored with ska too, save a few bands. idk if you've heard of these guys, but for some really good, non-generic ska bands, listen to:

The Arrogant Sons of Bitches
Subb (start with The Motions)
The Skatastrophes (the Cleveland one)
The Flatliners (first album's ska-core, second's street punk)
The JB Conspiracy
High School Football Heroes (just the first album)
Last Martyrs of a Lost Cause (only have a low-quality 4-song EP out, but they have a new CD coming out soon that sounds awesome)

and for some Sublime-like reggae, check out Scotty Don't (same guys as Badfish, the Sublime tribute band, but these guys play original stuff)

Seeing Streetlight tomorrow. I'm amped. They've been playing "On & On & On" acoustic, and they did a sick acoustic medley deal of "Sick and Sad", "The Big Sleep", and "Somewhere In the Between". Sick and Sad sounds so good acoustic, as does The Big Sleep.

Oh, and they've been playing "The Saddest Song", which I have never heard live, though it's one of my favorites. And hearing some Keasbey Nights other than the title track is like a dream. O&O&O is probly my favorite song on Keasbey

DOOOO IT.
I have seen them twice and I will most likely be attending either CT or maybe MA, depending on where I'm living at the time and if I can get back to CT that weekend.
