| forgot a few:
American War-"Rhetoric" (didn't realize this came out this year) Cobra Skulls-"American Rubicon"
and if I had listened to these albums one more time, I would probably include:
The Sidekicks-"Weight of Air" Tegan & Sara-"Sainthood"
forgot to do all the EPs:
Apologies, I Have None-"Two Sticks & Six Strings" The Flatliners-"Cynics" The Lawrence Arms-"Buttsweat and Tears" The Menzingers-"Hold On, Dodge" The Riot Before-"Fists...Out of Sockets"

| I forgot about that Tegan & Sara album. Still haven't listened to it yet. How's it compare with their previous work? | |

| Doh, I completely forgot about one of my favorites this year! Heartless Bastards - The Mountain
It's raw, it's strong, it's catchy, and I love it! Their singer's voice is so cool. I saw them when they were touring with TGA, which made a great show even better!

It's a tie between it and "The Con" as the best T&S album, in my opinion.

i like it as much or better than So Jealous and The Con, and it's much better than their earlier stuff. it's a bit edgier, with faster songs and louder guitars. the first single, "Hell," is really good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMYv9bSIDBE&fmt=18 the video's pretty weird, as can be expected from them. but they're still as cute as ever

| Yeah, I did. It wasn't bad, but I didn't find it all that compelling. That, and Just Breathe gets on my nerves :[ | |

| Tim van Tol - "Road Sweet Road"
I was disappointed with some of the changes made from the demo to the record, but the songs are still great

| Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon, been on repeat for the past week. So accessible and different than any rapper I've heard in years. This was a serious late pass for me. Glad he punched a Lady Gaga fan to get off the opening slot and headline his own tour. | |
