new website - The Gaslight Anthem Record

I have started a new website, The Gaslight Anthem Record, which collects (records!) information on the band's recordings (released and unreleased), boots, collectibles, etc.

While I don't claim to be an expert, I thought it would be good to have all this information in one place, and to keep adding to it, because it took me a long time to find it all online.

Please let me know what you think and, above all, please point out errors and provide me with additional information (contributions will of course be acknowledged).

That's sort of what we try to do here, but you're welcome to do it as well obviously. We try to keep it all in one place here. I look forward to reading your site.

The reason I gave this board a prominent link on my site, is that you do such an excellent good job here. A board like this is a much more dynamic being though, whereas I am trying to provide a somewhat static, if evolving, site of record. I hope they will complement each other.

Sink or Swim was released on May 29, 2007, not in 2006
Sink or Swim was released on XOXO Records; only the vinyl was released on Gunner
The '59 Sound was released on August 19, 2008, not in 2009
Every Little Secret was released on July 5, 2005, not in 2008
Under Brian Fallon unreleased tracks, you could also add Backstreets
On the videos page, you need to tack an s on the end of Great Expectations, and if you want to put them in chronological order, it's Drive, Woody, '59, OWL, Great Expectations. maybe post the links to the official vids on youtube on this page too
This site can be listed as www.dimestoresaints.com instead of thegaslightanthem.forumotion.com/forum.htm
And unless British people spell collectibles with an a and I just don't know that, collectibles is spelled with an i

that site is maintained by Scott, a member on this site. he created it initially to post the CRT songs, but later expanded it to include other random tracks by Brian Fallon. so you probly shouldn't include it on your site

also, you could maybe include a link to our Audio Rips Master List on your Bootleg page, instead of just listing the bootlegs that are randomly available on the Internet.

and if you're gonna mention This Charming Man, may as well include Cincinnati Rail Tie, Amping Copper, Surrogate McKenzie, and No Release. and Spiro Agnew and the various other bands that the other members were in too

other than that, that's a very good website. keep it up. i also loved your quote about discovering TGA. sums up the band pretty well

the "collectibles" section is out of date by 3 or 4 records...

Many thanks for the excellent feedback. I'll incorporate it as soon as possible. I'm still learning. As for the spelling, you can see it was a rush job, but I wanted to at least get the structure of the site into place.

I have updated the bootlegs page as recommended, but to meet the aims of my site, I could really do with more detail on some of them, dates especially.

As stated, any contributions will be acknowledged.

I now added 'watch' links for the official videos listing.

There's so much missing, I'd really suggest you take it down, add links and make it a functioning website instead of just a list of stuff.

If that's what you're going for than more power to you. I'm just saying as a fan looking for bootlegs or files I get disappointed when someone knows that its out there and doesn't give you a link. Then I'm still waiting and fishing for the file

yeah, I all about getting more stuff out about TGA, but I think Geezfools website really has the corner on the vinyl market. If you haven't seen it, it is very impressive

I just have updated the site with new material, especially on the guys' earlier bands, and have revised the bootlegs page, in addition to general revisions.

There is still info I am mssing, such as track listings for Amping Cooper and those for Surrogate McKenzie's Six Degrees of Separation.

I have tried to correct all errors pointed out to me so far.

I do hope the site has taken shape now and is of use.
