Ok folks, there are a few bits of exciting news to announce:

1. I got the tapes from TheMeanLittleMan!
2. As amazing as you thought they were going to be... they are cooler!

TMLM did up an amazing Letter of authenticity, this was already an amazing piece of TGA history, but now it is really classy.

So, let me be the first to say, Thank you Chris. Thank you for supporting independent music. Thank you for helping Brian start off his musical career. And thank you for being so unselfish and sharing the tapes with us. Thanks.


With that being said, there are only 15 of these tapes, me and the other admins are working up a way of distributing them. I will tell you that we are trying to give them out to those that are not just super fans, but people who have also done something to help out other fans.

So far here is the list and with my reasoning behind it:

Kropo (he started the forum back when it was bigproforum)
Geezfools (he runs http://18milesaminute.wordpress.com/ )
e7c (me)
Stalls_Standing (the british admin)
JoshRaymond (the highest poster)
JukeboxRomeo (great work with the Tabs)
Vibes (the new admin, actually owns the domain)
steady now steady now (he runs that other TGA record site)
Liveit (full back piece TGA Tattoo)

That is just 9, I will give one to Brian when I see him tomorrow so we will still have 5 left.

We will have a contest that is just for the forum members
One will go up to raise money for Charity
One will be given away as part of my non-profit organization
And two left in case it becomes painfully obvious that I left someone out

I don't run a site or post a lot, but I'd still love one of those leftover copies if they become available. Very cool to see these tapes get out.

Count me in for the contest, whatever it may be. I don't want to toot my own horn but as for credentials, I contributed to the audio rips a bunch of times if that counts as helping out the fans, and I've been ranting and raving about Fallon's bands on the Vinyl Collective and Ted Leo boards. Also, the Brian Fallon mixtape I made about 10 months ago is still on Rapidshare... in fact, check this out...



300 hits as of today, going to people online and friends. That's almost 1 download a day for 10 months. It's the first file I ever uploaded to Rapidshare, and it's by far the most downloaded of all my files.

Anyway I don't wanna sound desperate, but I'd cherish one of these... either way, could somebody upload a good, clean, straight image of that album art? It's awesome.

First, I want to thank everyone here. The Board members have been amazing with their interest in The Coffeehouse Sessions.

I have some news I'd love if you shared. As many of you know, I had to step away from music for a number of years when my Grandfather and Father got cancer. Coming out of dealing with 4 years of illness and death was very hard.

One of the biggest things that helped re-ignite my passion was finding out that Brian was doing well, and that so many people still had interest in these tapes I produced so many years ago.

That being said, I have recently booked my first main stage gig in about 5 years. Its a huge deal for me, and I want to invite anyone that can come to please join me.

I will be at John and Peter's in New Hope, PA, December 12th from 3pm-6pm. I hope that anyone in the NJ/PA/DE area can come. I made it a point that this is a free show, and it would mean a lot to me to see some of Brian's fans come out.

The club has a great history from George Thorogood, Bob Mould, Ritchie Sambora, Ween, Moe and others. Next to the music, the club is awesome for affordable beer and great food.

If you're so inclined, pease spread the word. This is the fan site for Brian's band, so I'm not one to go crazy trying to promote myself here. This place belongs to you, so I'd love it if anyone here was interested in seeing someone who was a part of Brian's history.

Brian and I played a lot of songs together both he and I wrote way back when. I'd love to play some of them for you.

Chris I'd love to be there and I would if I could (I'm from MD) but I don't get home from school in CO until December 18. Otherwise I'd be there for sure to support you.

Thanks for all you've done with these tapes. I'm glad we've helped you as a community, supporting Brian, supporting Gaslight and supporting you.

Yes! I'd love to see it. I'm in Canada, so it's a little far for me.

Ok... the venue can't supply a high speed internet connection, so we can't webcast the gig on the 12th. It will be taped, so as soon as its up, you'll know.

You'd need to talk to e7c if there are any further available. I have retained a couple for my personal collection, but these have such sentimental value I won't be releasing any of them.

My plan is to digitally re-master them for the fans. That project has taken a back seat until I finish recording my next album, which has taken priority.

Oh yeah. That's what I meant. From my counting there seemed to be one left over. You have been more than generous to us Chris!
