Well I'd be alright with Sink or Swim + The '59 Sound which comes to 24 songs. So if I had to throw in another it'd be "Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis?" Don't get me wrong I love American Slang but I'd love to hear the first two albums played in order.

Love how a lot of people put The Backseat last, that song is made for closing out shows. I also love the ending of We're Getting a Divorce, You Keep the Diner.

I would definitely want American Slang as my opener, something about that song jump-starts me which is why it's at the top of some of my running playlists.

For mine, because I'm too lazy to really get into and I think it's a cool concept, I'd go chronologically. Pick a good opener and closer for each moment of their history, and try to spread around the slow numbers.

Wooderson would be an awesome opener, sheer power.
Would love to end the regular set with Mullholland Drive. The last bit of that song (and who came to drive, you around this town...) is one of the best moments on Handwritten.

1930 to open the encore is heavy, meaningful song to both Gaslight and the fans.
Biloxi Parish is just as epic as the Backseat, and works to close out the Encore, keeping in line with my chronological concept.

i think it'd be cool to see them do a full album in its entirety. especially american slang. i'd love to hear them revisit those songs now that they have ian in the band for that extra guitar muscle

I based mine on many of my favorites but also on the kind of setlist I'd like to play as a musician, including an up and down flow and a small acoustic-themed set at the end. There are a few I wanted to include (The Spirit of Jazz, The Backseat) but 27 songs seemed long enough. ^_^
