This song is fucking amazing! Could listen to it forever! So much soul in it.

This is probably one of my all-time favorite songs. It's just so beautiful.

There is just so much soul in this band. When I listen to them, even though it is new material, it is like I have always listened to it, very strange.

I especially love the chorus - brilliant.

I think the best review I ever saw for TGA was all about this song:

I know they copy write their music to Little Eden Music too- Side note- I'm not sure if you saw/read the interview where Brian talked about this song. He said that he got it from looking at a picture- He saw a picture of them playing at Asbury Lanes awhile back, and noticed that they all had blue jeans and white t-shirts on. So he wrote about that- about "back then" growing up and stuff.

brian played this song for me in Las Vegas! he asked me what song and of couse i said Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts!

the chorus is brilliant. music. young "love". a truly universal chorus because everyone has been there and felt what he's singing about in one way or another.

I was listening to this song yesterday, and the thought occured to me...
The line "We like our arms in our brothers' arms".... could it be a reference to the Dire Straits' song Brothers in Arms? Maybe sort of a stretch, but I was trying to figure out exactly what they meant by that line and this reference made sense with the whole "sing with our heroes 33 rpm's" bit.

I've never understood that line either. Thought it may link to comradeship or friendship or something. Not sure if Brian's a Dire Straits fan. He could well be.
