Ok Derren Brown ain't a band but he's still awesome...
Always wanted to see Lp and 30stm. To add to that got tickets to see one of my favourite ever bands, Turin Brakes, on the 10th March, I'm supposed to be handing in all my coursework in my final year at uni in Feb/March. Those 4 in the space of 2 weeks are going to somehwta limit that...

| I just bought a ticket to see The Who at the Royal Albert Hall in March ... ... although I told myself I'd never see them live without Keith Moon (hence I've never seen them). However, they will play the whole of Quadrophenia, which I still think is one of the greatest records of all time, and I couldn't really miss that. | |

Awesome I have never sat down an listened to Quadropenia as a record only ever heard it alongside the film of the same title. My Dad keeps on telling me to rectify that so might see if he wants to go. Fantastic venue as well proper piece of cultural heritage I went to see Nitin Sawhney at one of the 2008 bbc prom nights but kinda got stuck to far back either way sounded fantastic.

| Saw them live at Reading in '08, obviously be different at a BC only gig but the atmostphere and energy was incredible. Almost got trampled, was 3rd/4th row back but a little to the side, lost a few mates in the melee and had to catch up later.
I'm not a huge fan of their on album stuff (although I do like it) but live were brilliant.

I'm not a huge fan of their on album stuff (although I do like it) but live were brilliant. I thought there set was a bit flat and the atmosphere was made terrible made worse by the influx of trendy indie kids who couldnt give a flying fuck about real music then again the whole of reading seems to be going that way so im probably not going to go again.

| Where were you stood?
To the left of the stage near the front it all seemed pretty rough. Certainly didn't seem flat from we were stood. Didn't happen to notice too many of the inidie kids at that time also which was probably a plus.

I was 15/20 deep at the centre I meant flat more in the sense that the set was dull rather than the lack of crowd movement. I dunno it just didnt seem to hit me as being all that great. I would like to have seen them play their own headline show before the latest album which I really cant get into as im sure it would have been awesome.
