| Inspired by the thread on punktastic this can be a place to discuss vinyl what do you have incoming, decks and the like. This probably wont take off but figured it was worth a shot seeing as a fair few seem to buy vinyl on here. So discuss everything vinyl!!

| I think this is a pretty good idea. I have incoming: TGA SOS White with Red Splatter (coming in from Stalls) Menzingers Hold on Dodge 7" olive green (600) (coming in from VC) MCR-I Brought You My Bullets...WHITE (100) I've decided that I'm only gonna try to get LP's from now on. Don't wanna pay lots of money for 7" stuff that only have a few songs. | |

| I just lucked out, I was talking to my neighbor about music and I mentioned how much I love vinyl now. She had no idea I listened to vinyl and was so glad to hear that someone was so passionate about music that she gave me her collection! Here are the highlights of what she gave me: Beach Boys "The Beach Boys Live in London" ST-11584 | | | Billy Joel "The Nylon Curtain" QC 38200 | | | Chet Atkins "Chet Atkins and His Guitar" CAL 659 | | | Eagles "Their Greatest Hits" 6E-105 | | | Elvis Presley "Elvis' Golden Records" LPM-1707 | | | Frank Sinatra "Sinatra's Sinatra" R9-1010 | | | Hank Williams "24 of Hank Williams' Greatest Hits" SE 4755-2 | | | Johnny Cash "Blood, Sweat and Tears" Cl 1930 | | | Johnny Cash "Hymns by Johnny Cash" CL 1284 | | | Johnny Cash "I Walk The Line" CS 8990 | | | Johnny Cash "Ring of Fire, The Best of Johnny Cash" CS 8853 | | | Johnny Cash "The Sound of Johnny Cash" CL 1802 | | | Les Paul & Mary Ford "Swingin' South!!" CS 8728 | | | Marnish Distillery "The Sounds of Marnish Distillery Pipe Band" WRC 1-1201 | | | Merle Haggard "Okie From Muskogee" ST-384 | | | Peter, Paul and Mary "In The Wind" WS1507 | | | Peter, Paul and Mary "Moving" W1473 | | | Peter, Paul and Mary "PP&M" WS1449 | | | Prado "Big Hits" LSP-2104 | | | Ray Charles "Greatest Hits" ABCS 415 | | | Ray Charles "Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music" ABC 410 | | | Willie Nelson "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" FC 36883 | all of these are in great condition and sound great... there are a lot more, but I haven't catalogued them yet (including some Elvis and Beatles 7") | |

| I have a Audio Technica PL-120 and $1000 dollars. Someone help me pick out what else I need. I want a sound system that will: A. be big enough for my guestroom 15x10feet B. I want the system to make songs like "Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts" or anything by Johnny Cash sound great. In other words, I don't need a ton of bass. C. I have a 15 month old baby, the system does not need to be loud. so overall, I am looking for quality of sound, not just volume. I don't care if the speakers can go to 11. as an incentive, if someone recommends a system that I end up getting every piece of, I will give you an open invitation to my place where we will listen to great music (like TGA's Sink or Swim test pressing) while drinking nice scotch. | |

| I've really fallen behind on vinyl purchasing! I think I've got a couple of 7"s coming - the new Gaslight single, and the Spraynard split. Anyone wanna buy a kidney so I can afford more? | |

| Damn it I think HMV are big liers. I have my 59 sound reissue on the way and they said it would be here today. Is it hell. The upside is I should get a nice chunk of my incomings tomorrow from a different distro so hopefully I will get the 7" as well and have a few hours chilling to some records. | |

| I don't think it's officially out til Monday anyways, so I wouldn't worry too much! HMV once sent me a Chris de Burghe CD instead of a Chuck Ragan one, wasn't happy. | |

| Apparently my re-released '59 Sound was dispatched a couple of days ago, so I may get it tomorrow from HMV. They've taken the money from my account anyhow!!! |

| One thing I hate about collecting vinyl (if getting it shipped) is the long wait for it. Is it here yet? Is it here yet? But then again it is pretty exciting when it finally comes in... | |

Or the way the postman forces it through the letterbox (7"s) with such force that I am scared it will break when it hits the floor. |
