Im usually up anyway so just open the door for him. Got some of my incoming today I had no idea that the 59 sounds reissue was on clear.

Managed to get: the Off with their head/Dead landlord split on multi coloured stuff and Hot Water Music - No division on weird blue marble looks awesome.

Should get the rest by Monday.

Vinyl Collective have just got hold of 100 copies of Dear You by Jawbreaker as a reissued double LP. Comes with the CD as well which has a 24 page booklet with expanded artwork and the like. Not bad for at all even with all the shipping to the UK.

I know some of you are fans.

My Menzingers 7" just came in, still waiting on other records...in the meantime just checking ebay ever so frequently for records I want.

Just pre-ordered Bad Religions Stranger than fiction on limited clear vinyl from Interpunk. Snagged The Original Cowboy and Spinnerette's debut at the same time.

Finally got shipping confirmation on my Dinosaur Jr record finally only been a month.

Got my SOS white with red splatter in the mail today. Thanks Stalls.

Damn, hate the post offices lately, the record mailers are getting thrashed a lot lately...the record's and the covers are fine but still handle with care means handle with care.

I have been lucky so far then I guess.

Hopefully Dinosaur jr will arrive today the other stuff I ordered wont get shipped till the weekend now as the guy was ill. I hate waiting.

Just kinda curious where everyone else gets there records.
I'm sure most order directly from the label, VC, ebay, interpunk, and or some of the proboards.

I just recently ordered from EIL in the UK, they're pretty fast and the packing was pretty damn good.

and im still waiting to see if my "'59 Sound" rereleases (CD and vinyl) ever make their way to my door, seeing as i accidentally had them shipped to my old address. my fault, guess i cant blame in on hmv, so i cant really say anything about how fast they normally are.

have a list of others i want but im trying to be good and not spend so much money on music!

HMV are usually pretty quick Steph, about 2-5 days for me, usually 3 though.

Anyone got the Brian Fallon/Chuck Ragan split yet? I pre-ordered from VC but haven't.

I'll pick up the occasional vinyl in stores but almost everything i've got i've ordered from no idea records, interpunk, and fat. Oh and a few of the tougher to find stuff off ebay.

I get my stuff from different distros.

I have got stuff from VC and from VC board members (currently waiting on some Jawbreaker stuff) Different Kitchen Records, SNCL distro, All in Vinyl, No Idea or direct from the band or label.

Depends really what im after and who has it cheapest usually.

I went to a market in a 'local' town the other day and there were lots of stalls with old records. My friend, who got into it at the same time as me, gets most of his this way. If you're not worried about condition you can pick up some decent bargains. Like my friend is into the Beatles stuff, and there was some there for £10, which he said was really good as you could sell them form at least £25 online. But I'm not into it to make a profit, so there didn't seem much point in wasting a tenner.

Finally for my hands on Bivouac by Jawbreaker. Im chuffed to have this and it came really quickly shipped from the states on the 3rd and arrived today. Never had anything turn up so fast from the US.

Yeah that's rapid if it was shipped on the 3rd. Usually it takes about a week for me.

How strange just ordered The Redder the Better by Polar Bear club again quite pricey but fuck it. Gonna pick up some Husker Du as well when I go to Crewe to see the girlfriend from this ace shop in Manchester.

Vinyl Exchange its pretty much right next to Aflecks or there abouts. They had some cool stuff when I was last there but it was before I was really into collecting. Though I did pick up a leatherface CD from there.

Yeah I'm aware of Vinyl Exchange. Usually I have trouble picking up decent stuff in stores, usually buy of the internet!

Are there any other good vinyl places round there?
