Didn't Ian contribute a lot on that album tho ? I question that it was a substantial enough contribution to make Elsie both his and Brian's baby. I expect other musicians to contribute on this "solo" effort too but, like Elsie, it will be Brian's creation. This is not to disparage Ian. | |

| I always thought of Elsie as pretty much a solo record until I heard Ian's solo record...you can definitely hear a similar style between the two. Check it out if you haven't already. | |

| I think the early 2016 estimates are way too early. Probably more like summer, I'd guess. He's just doing the demos now, apparently. Regardless of when we get it I'm very excited for this. I've said it before here but I think this was where Brian was naturally headed about two years ago but then forced himself back into Gaslight and Get Hurt was the result. I can't wait to hear (hopefully) a stripped-down emotional record. | |
