The Gaslight Anthem are no strangers to Reading and Leeds festivals, that much is true and with 2012, comes their second appearance on the Main Stage.
As big fans of the band, we caught up with guitarist Alex Rosamilia to find out how their set went.
"t was a lot of fun. This is our fourth time here now and - this is going to sound really cliché - but it's gotten better every time. To have that many people out there, especially as early as we played, it was great for us, especially with how well the new songs went over."
We noticed you did play a lot of new songs... "They're fun. We've really been enjoying playing them and it's new to us. We're having fun with it. We only have forty five minutes and it's hard to figure what to do, and what not to do. We're here to promote that record, and plus we have two singles out already on the radio, so that's two songs. We only have eight or nine songs, so that's a third of your set already."
