I was listening to American Slang today and it hit me...

The two best songs for Kidzbop: Boxer and Old Haunts.

Boxer is relentlessly upbeat, even if the lyrics aren't.

And Old Haunts....well...could you imagine kids singing that?

If they did 59 Sound they would probably have to change it to "Young boys, young girls....ain't supposed to cry on a Saturday night" lols

Senor and the Queen. I can totally see kids shaking their hands in the beginning of the song and singing the "shake, shake, shake, shake , shake" part.

I'm pretty sure Brian started off the song in DC a couple of weeks back by changing the lyrics to "Take off your pants!", so that version would be particularly inappropriate.
