I have the original Mae poster, the blue one, not the red one. Although they would look really good hanging up next to each other... NOPE! No shopping for me tonight!

I have to stop because once I'm done with this drink, I will have had 13-14 shots of rum tonight, and that's A TON for me. Like, the most I've ever had before is 10-11 and I'm not sure I can walk straight right now, so I'm done for tonight. And I just get drunker for several hours after I stop drinking (I can't explain that!), so I am going to be totally bombed when I finally go to sleep. But right now, I am feeling GREAT!

Haha, I do that when I'm totally sober! But yeah...I am SO drunk. Not to be a downer because I'm happy right now and I don't want to depress anybody, but sometimes being a grown up sucks. It just does. There is too much shit that you have to deal with and too much shit that you are exposed to, and it's just wrong. Enjoy being young, Matt. I hated being a teenager when I was one, but sometimes it's a good thing. I'm fine, really, but today was just awful and I needed an escape.

Growing up scares me. I don't want life to change. I've spent the past 17 years sitting around doing whatever I want. I'm a renaissance man. I like to play music, and paint, and build models, and play video games, and program stuff, and write, and read, and all these things. I'm afraid becoming an adult will make me lose this.

At the same time, I'm excited. Relationships, independence, adventure.

Doesn't this side of my room look just....awesome?

You should also be excited though, because there are a lot of cool things and experiences that come with growing up, like what you listed. It's all a process. It doesn't happen all in the same day. Don't be scared though. Most people don't the kind of stress and anxiety that I have in my life. I just have a lot of crap going on right now because of people that have come and gone in my life (and people who are still present in my life), and I'm just not great at dealing with all of it, but I'm learning. We are always learning, whether we're 17, 29, 40, or 98. I have no idea where those last two numbers came from, but it doesn't matter. My point is that I don't want to scare you. My life is currently more crazy than most people's. Honestly, I wouldn't go back to being a teenager for a million dollars. I love the independence and the experiences that come wth being an adult (for the most part) and being a teenager can be really difficult. The 20s are way better than the teens.

Interpunk screwed up and sent me the standard CD instead of the deluxe, so I dont' have bonus tracks. I haev the super deluxe bundle coming though, so whatever, I'll give this CD to my sister once the deluxe comes. And I'll probably buy another deluxe at some point too. I want to hgear Blue Dahlia so bad, but right now I'm okay with the first 11 songs. I don't remember the last time I've cried so much. WHOA.
