| Vinyl has it's own signature sound. I wouldn't say it's necessarily say the quality is better than any other format, but you'll hear shit in a whole new way on vinyl. You either love it or you don't. | |

Yeah. I remember listening to my grandparents old vinyl player when I was little and I loved that kind of static like sound it had to it. I dunno, I love remembering listening to it. I dunno if modern day record players have that effect but I have been told by numerous people that I should invest in one since I am obsessed with music.

- I am right here. The last two nights have been way too crazy and energy filled so I decided to take the night off. I am waiting for m ebay sale funds to go through tonight. As soon as that happens I am ordering a record player and speakers off amazon. I am also going to order all the Gaslight Anthem vinyls off Interpunk including Handwritten. I am going to have a 99 percent shot of getting Handwritten early then. It will be coming at me from all sides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is so AWESOME!!! How cool! There is nothing better than TGA on vinyl, and you HAVE to get Elsie on vinyl too. It's life changing. It's that good. I am dying to hear Handwritten tonight. Seriously, I need these songs so bad. I'm so tempted to listen to the previews, but I'm not. Sigh... I know!!! I am so excited. I showed bluuu one I found on amazon earlier and he said it was a real good vinyl player for the price. Thanks for reminding me about Elsie too! I completely forgot about that. What makes it so great on vinyl? haha, you make it seem like it is amazing. Is the quality a lot better than the cd?
Yeah, surprises me you have held off that long to listen to the previews. I loved Biloxi Parish when i first heard it a year ago but I recently heard the samples of it and I love the studio version of what I heard. They do so much crazy good editing in that song, it blows me away. The samples sound like a new song compared to the live version we have been hearing. Ugh, I can't wait to hear the full version of it. The other previews are all the same level of awesome too. I'll have to go back and look at the record player you're getting. I'm excited for you! I was so happy when i got my new record player last spring. What makes Elsie amazing on vinyl? To begin with, everything. (Almost Famous quote!) It sounds so rich and deep, and the emotion of the lyrics comes through SO MUCH MORE than it does on CD or mp3. It really comes alive and it will make you feel Brian's words so much, it's just unreal. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but I've a little too much to drink and I'm not sure how coherent I am, haha. I AM STRONG! I won't listen to the previews, even though I'm dying to. I'm just sticking to 45 and the videos of Biloxi and HCMM.

I liked the remake okay, but I LOVE the original. Gene Wilder was the best person to play Willy Wonka. Even when I see him in other movies, I automatically tihnk of him as Willy Wonka. Such an awesome movie!

That's exactly it. It's a whole different way of hearing and interpretting the music. For me, it's way more emotional because you can hear the layers of the music and it sounds so deep. I think all music is better on vinyl, but Elsie is freakin' incredible. All of the Gaslight catalogue too, but Elsie is just extra special.

| Running around for 8 hours is exhausting! I feel like that a lot. This coming week the kids are going to a day camp and I think they have different schedules, so I will be running them to activities all day long and trying to manage everything all by myself because I'm the only one who's there and the only one who can. I'm tired just thinking about it! | |

(Just accidentally posted this in the merch thread but caught it in time) I DON'T GET THIS! I love Angry Johnny and the Radio! Who would choose that moment to go pee? I don't care if my bladder was ready to burst, I would hold it if they started playing Angry Johnny. Jeez!

| To be honest I don't agree with the reviewer that Angry Johnny didn't go over well. Lots of people were singing along and people were into the Bon Iver interlude thing.

No, I just hate how they hold your funds on ebay till you get positive feedback or send the item. Back in the day, you would get the money right when your the item sold.
