| Most of my 12"s sound warped on it, the built in speakers are shit, it's made very cheaply. Sony ones are awesome, but you usually need an am between the player and your speakers. | |

It's an old running joke my best friend my friend made 5 or 6 years ago. He wanted it to be our band name. I hadn't realized how utterly racist it was in my innocence, though he seemed to have full grasp on its offensiveness. It comes from his impression of an impoverished immigrant family having to share a single churro- a long tube of fried-dough, which may or may not have cinnamon on it-, and thus, they must lick the churro instead of biting it.
I don't speak much to that best friend anymore. He's gone off from making racist impressions to doing drugs and drinking. Maybe using this ridiculous name is a way of remembering the good times? Or maybe I just think "Lick the Churro" is a really silly-sounding name. Who knows? )(DUN DUN DUN)
