Did someone say Brian is a bad person because he got drunk?

Even though he's like... 32?

Which means he's an adult... and therefore legally able to get drunk?

Responsibly getting drunk =/= Being a bad person, even as someone who is completely against (underage/dangerous) drinking can see that getting drunk isn't a horrible thing.

Also, sorry if I'm late on this conversation, I've been painting 40k figures and watching Evo for the past... few... hours...

Trust me, on top of what Lorraine posted, there's a few other people that are 'concerned' and majorily over-reacting that this is the beginning of the end... Jeez, he is a grown man...

Don't be judgmental, Jimmy. Just because a person smokes or drinks or does drugs, doesn't make them a bad person. And just because someone chooses not to do these things doesn't make them a good person.

I spent my whole life being totally straight-laced, never doing drugs (and I never will), and never getting drunk (totally changed my opinion on that!), and I was a very good person. Wow...I just say something- and it is taken out of context by everyone here. I have no problem if people take stuff, it is their future and life;not mine. I only suggest they stop something if it threatens their life or wellbeing-If they ignore it, I ignore their problem if they do not want to listen to what I said. I never said drinking makes you a bad person, I never said smoking makes you a bad person (Although it does leave you in terrible shape after awhile). Okay, enough ranting, I explained what I said, so anyway...Good morning all. There is never anything good on TV on sunday mornings. I have actually resorted to the Country music channel-at least it is music and not reality shows.

I think the bit that might have been taken out of context, or picked up on correctly, was the last line... ' I have been a good person' Some would see that as, because you have worded it in a way, that by not taking up these vices, that this makes you a better person than those who do tread those paths.. You have to see that point and why people jumped on it. I've seen people make a mess of their lifes whilst drunk, on drugs, or whatever, I've also seen people make a mess of their lives when been sober and as straight edge as they want to be. End of the day, it's the person inside that makes the mistakes. Some of the greatest works of art, music, literature where done when the artist was as high as a kite or as drunk as a skunk...

Gotta remember dude, it's the internet, there's no face of emotion on here, even the most well meant comment, can be taken wrong or twisted into something else with ease. People jumped on your comment for a reason.

Hmm..they really need to create something to show you are not being that serious. I meant "going with what society considers normal". Like I said before, I have no problem if people drink-responsibly. Smoking is one thing I cannot stand though. otherwise, I try to live by the saying "live and let live". Your wanna live one way? your choice and yours only.

Gordon, you are exactly right. It was that last sentence that struck a nerve with me. Jimmy, I apologize if you think I was attacking you, but you really did come across like you were saying that you were a good person just because you don't do all of those things, which in turn would mean everybody that does drink/smoke/do illegal things, is a bad person. I'm not the only one who read your post this way. If you're joking or being sarcastic or whatever, you need to use emoticons like White Man in Hammersmith said, or you need to just flat out tell us, because we can't tell from your words alone.

Just have not had a great couple weeks, and have not been completely 100% in my right mind lately. I am about 95% in my right mind.
