Damn. What's with all the Cage the Elephant hate? Think they're a pretty solid band with some good songs.

That's who it is. I've posted a few times answering people when they asked about it and oldgospelchoir mentioned it earlier in this thread.

Well, I like it on the record a lot, but live it feels very caught between two places. It's not a rocker but it's not really a quiet Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts/Here's Looking At You, Kid type thing. It's just kinda...there. And it's never worked for me, even when being right there up close and personal.

Is there anywhere where I can see the Orion set again? I missed it on Saturday and can only find a couple of videos on Youtube. Does Fuse have a full video to rewatch or was it 'catch it while it's hot' type thing that'll never be seen again?

super late posting, but i was in AC all weekend at TGA friday, and orion all weekend. The orion fest was super weird seeing gaslight on a festival stage, but they kicked ass. most people didnt know at the show that you were able to get right up to the stage for all the opening bands before Metallica went on, so there was like 30 hardcore gaslight fans up front to the right of the stage. a lot of people were giving us weirs looks when gaslight went and we were all going crazy singing/clapping, it was pretty funny. by the end of there set, a lage number of people joined in on rocking out with us, its safe to say that they def won some people over. they were the only band that day that commanded the entire crowd, and actually looked comfortable playing in front of that many people. there was a huge mosh pit that opened up durring Ferris Wheel, which was pretty hilarious.

all in all, ill stick with seeing TGA in small clubs surrounded by hot and sweaty people singing along to every word brian says, but it was an awesome weekend!


(lucero also kicked ass, but almost nobody was watching them)

I wanna have that broadcast now...I've only been away for four days ( at Hurricane Festival, Germany) and so much happened all around the Gaslight stuff

I have the audio.. but theres lots of issues with the audio going silent on every song..
