Wow, your exciting Saturday sounds like my everyday! I'm a nanny/homeschool teacher, so my workdays consist of taking care of two little girls and managing their household, laundry included. I lead a very exciting life.

My Saturday will be spent being an amateur therapist for my psycho cousin and spending time with my nieces and nephew (her kids - technically my cousins, but I'm really close to them.). Laundry sounds pretty appealing to me!

Do you normally work on Saturdays? If so, that's nice to have the day off then!

No, I work retail my schedule changes all the time. I wish it was a set schedule. But I don't have a social life so it doesn't matter much.

I worked retail for a little while in college and the constantly changing schedule drove me crazy! During the summer I work 50+ hours a week, so I don't have a life either. It just revolves around my work kids and my family kids (my cousin's). All my other free is spent either writing or...here. I am the queen of spam. And I swear that I'm not as pathetic as I sound.

Working retail blows. They ask too much for too little. But I guess whatever makes money. I can afford making art and a little extra. Other than work I hang out with my dogs and cats. I talk to them but I don't think they understand.

They understand, they just can't answer you in English. How many dogs and cats do you have? I have one dog, Scooby, who's a chow/husky mix. He's really animal aggressive, so he's an only child. Right now he is pretty much catatonic because we have been having thunderstorms for the last five hours and he's a big chicken.

I still live with some family so we have four dogs and three cats that all are rescued animals. One of the dogs is attached to my hip whenever I am at home. Her name is Coco and she is a chiuaua that someone left in a Dillard's department store. People really are horrible sometimes.

Aw, poor Coco! I had a chihuahua/dauchshund mix when I was growing up. They're cute dogs. That's great that they are all rescues. My family adopted our dog from the SPCA nine years ago and he's 12 now, but he thinks he's about two. I still live with my family too, so Scooby is the family dog, but I think of him as more mine. I can't imagine having that many pets! Scooby is a handful all by himself!

If you stick around the forum, you'll see that there are a lot of animal lovers around here and people post pictures of their pets too, so that's always fun.

I have found animals make better friends than people sometimes. Bust you just have to pick up their poop.

Haha, luckily for me my dad does that part!

But I agree, sometimes animals are just nicer and more understanding than people. Although sometimes Scooby looks at me in a very judgmental way and I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm crazy. Right now I think he's getting annoyed with me because I have been listening to Here Comes My Man for over an hour and I'm too lazy to go downstairs and get my earbuds.

My animals just fall asleep on my dirty clothes. I wouldn't even do that because I stink.

actually performing tonight. One reason. Girl I am crushing on was in the crowd, and I just lost my nerve to tell her all my feelings, and that translated into losing my nerve onstage a little. That has NEVER haapened before to me. Otherwise, it was a great day today.
