Why is Mountain Dew banned in Northern Ireland? There's nothing in it but lots of caffeine.

Brominated vegatable oil is a banned substance in the UK, so they brought out another version for the UK and replaced it with a much healthier alternative...more sugar...

That's so weird! Now I'm a little scared of this brominated vegetable oil since it's bad enough to be banned by an entire country. I lived on Mountain Dew when I was in high school. What was I drinking?!

If it's anything like my first stop in the US everytime (even before I get to the hotel/villa) then I should have got that covered...first stop = Wal-mart and stock up on cases of Dew

Haha, I guess so!

I used to never be able to fall asleep before 1:00 or 2:00 and then I got up early for school, so I drank a lot of Mountain Dew to keep my energy up during the day. Over the years I have just gotten used to the lack of sleep and don't need tons of caffeine, but I do like the taste of Mountain Dew.
