I know what you're saying, it's just after getting rid of Dirk, and Maxi's future uncertain, it would be nice to have some sort cover or at least options. I know he has monopolised his teams chances over the past few years, but his record isn't that bad.

6 league goals 2007-2008
7 league goals 2008-2009
7 league goals 2009-2010
12 league goals 2010-2011
17 league goals 2011-2012

I would like us to keep Carroll though, as I think eventually, there is going to be a great player there, it's just whether it is part of LFC, although it seems Rodgers isn't THAT keen on changing his team to suit, so maybe it is just time to sadly cut losses.

23 in total for the season, which makes it even better. It's just I'm a bit dubious about him moving to Liverpool, as he basically overtook that Fulham team (not that, that's a bad thing) and hence the high amount of goals.

Mind you, for the rumoured 10 million, it's not exactly like Liverpool were banging them in last season. For the first time, in a long, long time, even I started to wonder...Jeez, if even have of those woodwork shots had went in..

That's the reaction I've got most over the last few years. Ahaha, your owners are morons for changing the colour. I guess the nickname has gone with it?
I probably see a couple a season. It's expensive getting up there from London!

I don't think the nickname has gone (and if it has then I doubt it'll make a difference), but apparently it's to appeal to the Asian market because red is their lucky colour, whilst neglecting the fact that most Cardiff fans would say Blue is theirs scratch I suppose its al to get money in to pay off some massive debt we have.
Luckily for me I live about 13 miles from Cardiff so I get to go to all the home games, I also manage to go on some away trips, which are always fun (even when we get demolished by West Ham in the play-offs, or beaten by Swansea then pelted with bricks on the way out) Very Happy

What I would be interested to see is the sales figures at the end of the season for the home and away kits separately. Your away kit is blue, isn't it?

Yeah, and by the sounds of it, very few people will be buying the home kit, although I shall be sticking with my 05/06 Jason Koumas away shirt which was signed by the majority of the players ( I'm very visible at away matches with it on due to it being a very bright yellow)

Can't wait for the boxing in the Olympics later, with Paddy Barnes and Katie Taylor already guaranteed medals!

Us Irish are always good in the boxing, great performance last night from young Conlan too
