Kind of like a cross between Aussie, South African and English - didn't bother me at all apart from people going up at the end of their sentences (though plenty of students in the UK talk like that). Bear in mind I live within 30 miles of both Liverpool and Manchester - a Kiwi accent is pleasant by comparison! |

| Didn't want clog the forum with a new thread so thought I'd shamelessly bump my pictures and inform you of my next trip... Taking a road trip round Norway for 9 days in early August. Yes I realise I'll need to take out a mortgage to fund this! I'm hoping to see as much of the west coast as possible. I'd like to get to Tromso but think that might be a bit optimistic given that its a 4000km round trip from Oslo. Its more likely I'll end up doing a circular route west from Oslo, up the West Coast to Trondheim and then back down through the middle. Anyone visited there before and can give me some recommendations? I'd like to check out a couple of the fjords (Geirangerfjord seems a must-do) but other than that just looking forward to driving through some epic countryside with Gaslight blasting. As far as I can tell, some of the scenery is similar to New Zealand so hoping to get some more travel porn |
