| Well, I figured there should be a thread just to start working on the tab ideas. From what I can tell...I think This is in either standard or Gaslight Tuning. | |

| I've figured out the chords to a few but haven't written them down. I figured out Last Rites on piano as well, it's ridiculously easy. I don't even know how to play piano. | |

| Sugar like most songs on Elsie(In fact a lot of fallon songs) is relatively simple. in the verse from a quick listen, its just three notes. I play guitar and bass but I never usually try to tab out a song on my own because I just may be far off(don't want people saying 'this is god awful'), but I could give it a try if no one better actually could.
People who don't really know, Brian tends to use the same four chords in alot of his songs, and its just the lead guitar/tuning that's changed.(believe me I've learned quite a few gaslight songs)
Ex. biloxi parish, great expectation use the same chord progression in the chorus, the same chord progression you hear the bass do in o.w.l., you see that chord progression used in alot of tga songs

| So i gave that main riff of blood loss a try, I think its pretty close(also did it in like ten minutes)
First time trying to tab something out so don't kill me on it(have a little crappy yet decent sounding acoustic)
This riff runs through out the verse, if I got this down I'll attempt the rest of the song
You can hold these in semi chords-makes it alot easier and I believe how it was supposed to be played
E------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B-----------------5------------------------5--------------------------------------------------------------- G----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D--------6---------------------6----------------------------------6------------------------6------------- A----4--------7--------4------------7----------------------7---------7-----------7--------------7------ E-----------------------------------------------------5------------------------5--------------------------

| Sounds to me like it's up a half step from where you have it. Otherwise I think it's right. | |

| Well. Crush is in standard tuning, and no capo. In the video of a live performance, It looks at though Brian is using power chords on the 1st through 9th frets (yes I know most powerchords are in the 1st -7th frets) | |

| What do you guys think of this for the Sugar intro. It's pretty much the same as that tab but played a full step down.
E ----------------------- B ---2------------------- G ---1------------------ D ------------2---------- A 4--------0------------2 E -------------------0----
That's played with a few hammer ons and slides to make it sound better.
Then the other part (which I'm not sure of)
E--------------------- B---------------------- G--2--0-------0--------- D----------3------3----- A---------------------3~- E------------------------

| It's pretty simple. The tuning is open D.
D-minor (open chord) A# (barre chord) x3 F (barre chord) C (barre chord)
In the chorus the chord progression is F - Dm - C
And he seems to be playing only the fourth lightest strings. If that makes sense.
