I do have a question, if I wanna get all his stuff, excluding the live album, what do I need to get? I noticed he has two albums, the first three years and the second three years. Are those compilations of all his music? first three years and the second three years are compilations of bsides and such. start with his album Love Ire and Songs. |

Are those compilations of all his music? Frank has four studio albums, Sleep is For the Week, Love Ire and Song, Poetry of the Deed and England Keep my Bones, all of which are fantastic and of which Love Ire and Song is the Most Fantastic. He also has three EPs, Campfire Punkrock, The Real Damage and Rock and Roll, all of which are good though IMO the albums tend to be better. The comps contain the three EPs and some other stuff (album bonus tracks, covers, etc...). So if you want *everything* you need to get the four albums and the two comps, but not the EPs.

Well I do kinda. That and Love Ire & Song are the best. England Keep My Bones is a great compilation of songs put very well together (I forgot the word Im thinking), where as Love Ire & Song is like great songs thrown together kinda like a greatest hits, with couple of average songs. In England they have certain kinda flow and you dont have to skip at all. |

| I got a question for all of you non UK fans. How big is Frank actually in your country? Like how big of an arena he could fill or something? Because in Finland its ridiculous how unknown he is and still can fill a fucking Wembley arena (is it 12.000 seats or something) in England. In Finland he could propably sellout an 1000 seat club (in Finland thats the biggest size of a club and then its Ice hockey arenas and stuff). I just made a wish to local "BBC" radio (I think I made 4 of them in a same week so thats why it got played) and they were just wondering "who the hell is this guy". And then the DJ was all exited about him. And the same thing have happened to almost all of my friends that I play Frank. Just like him and TGA. There is a fucking huge audience for them, but they just got to heard it you know. Just like that great Huffincton Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/jon-spira/speaking-frankly-about-mu_b_1428278.html?ref=uk) article said. Theres audience, but not many people to sell them these things...but just like in that article other side of me says "Who cares - I get to hear good music, so sod everyone else"... |

If I had to guess, maybe like 500 people turned up for the show he did in Seattle with AJJ. Im terrible at judging crowd sizes though...

| I'm seeing him next week in Boston at a club with maybe 800-1000 capacity. It sold out quickly and they added a 2nd night, which I believe hasn't sold out yet. | |

Confirming once again if it wasn't for Brian, Frank would be my favorite musician. Though I still find it hilarious how many people assumed he was some sort of radical left-winger just because he plays folk punk music.

We've become so associated with heartless, homophobic, mega-church members these days.
