I don't know the pressing details but as noted on this vinyl collective thread, there's been a pressing of this LP on red vinyl too:

I know nothing other than the fact that Chuck is currently selling red copies on his tour dates. I'm guessing that when they started getting low on the black copies they decided to press more but opted to go with a new color. I doubt this was part of the initial pressing because the press release said nothing about it. I'm sure the full info will come out eventually.

any one fancy going to a US Chuck Ragan show and getting me one ....it is Christmas after all !

Haha, as brucesboots and I both live in the midlands, England hopefully that will make the postage easier.

All we need now is someone who's going to a Regan show and willing to hook us up with the red variant.

According to Chuck's twitter account, the red LP will soon be available though the Revival Tour webstore (which has yet to launch).

from a very very good source Cargo records will be carrying the red varient and I also get a feeling there will be a dvd (maybe Koln)

At the moment Cargo UK and Germany are saying they know nothing about the red vinyl, there was a dvd planned but thats af far as it goes , unless they just decided to broadcast it instead ?

All great questions. I tried getting info from the Revival Tour via Twitter but also had no luck. I think the red is most certainly a second press.

fullcollapse's husband over at vinyl collective was told there were around 2,000 copies pressed on red vinyl. This info was from Jon Gaunt and Joe Ginsberg of Chuck's band (fiddle and bass player).

I just checked the Cargo German site and looks like they're gearing up to stock the Revival Tour DVD:

Dont think the dvd will happen, cargo told me there was plans for one at some point but that seems to be as far as it went, im guessing it was the Cologne show. Any body got any updates on the red vinyl ?

There's a red one on E-bay now but I bet it ends up selling for way more than it will cost when these become widely available.

no idea ? they wont take pre- orders either , but at least they say they will have it, everywhere else seems to draw a blank.
