| Man, I seriously love this cover! I have to admit, I've never really been exposed to Jack Johnson and barely even know who he is (other than the Curious George involvement). Brian and TGA do such a great job at covering other's music! Some of my favorites are this Jack Johnson cover, that "Antonia Jane" cover by Lightning Dust, "State of Love and Trust", and "The War" by Lucero (my favorite cover version being when TGA and Tim Barry covered this together at a live show). | |

i'm not a fan of Jack Johnson normally, he just seems a snooze, like surfer stoner blahhh.
i'm still not in love with it, but i think i like Brian's version better.
however, it just makes me think that the reason i love Gaslight so much is the sum of the parts,...no offense to Brian, at all...just I think I like the total of what they bring together than any one person's taste.
