Surprised there's not a thread for this already. Anyway, Chris Wollard is coming out with his first solo CD sometime soon, titled "The Ship Thieves." As for Chuck Ragan, both his CDs are amazing, especially the studio one. However, I've never been too big a fan of Hot Water Music, though some of their songs were really good. On the other hand, The Draft is one of my favorite bands. So, if I were to get into HWM, what album should I start with?

| No Divsion.
Personal preference but every song is a winner. A lot of people will say Caution but I feel song for song this is better.
I would then try fuel for the hate game and caution.
Moonpies for Misfits ep was top stuff as was forever and counting the pre epitah stuff is very raw which I like maybe its because im a big fan of Leatherface.
to be fair most of their stuff is awesome.

| I can't wait for the Revival Tour, it's gonna be amazing. Chuck Ragan and Tom Gabel performing solo sets, and covering each other's songs? I might die before October gets here. | |

Awesome show. I just ripped the audio if anyone wants it. And I got a few questions about The Draft. Does anyone have any info on this song or other unreleased songs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2JeAoQpXL4&feature=user I love this song. It's called "Chewing On Broken Glass", and they were playing it in '05, but they haven't released it yet. And there are like 5 more unreleased songs on youtube. Do they have a new CD coming out sometime soon?

| I saw Austin Lucas as support from Chuck.....and I can't say that his voice was annoying....why do you think that???
He was one of the....no....he was THE best singer that I have ever seen live....just incredible.
And yeah....I think that a new Draft record is on it's way!

| idk, i just think lucas' voice is a little too twangy sometimes (this coming from someone who hates country music), but I do agree that he is a very good singer | |

| just found a live video of The Loved Ones covering "For Broken Ears" on their most recent tour. the sound sucks, but it's still pretty cool there's also a video from the same show of them playing "Massive" with a really awesome intro | |

| Chris Wollard already put some solo stuff out under his own name in a split with Mike Hale from Gunmoll/In The Red. I believe that the name of his new project is Chris Wollard and the Ship Thieves. Ar least that's what's listed on the Fest 7 roster. | |

| The Loved Ones do a pretty good cover of Ragan's 'For Broken Ears'. I haven't listened to Ragan's cover of 'Pretty Good Year' yet, but I'll try find it online later. It might be up on his Myspace. | |

| The Draft have toured with AM! Not sure about HWM. They really sound similar. I love HWM's cover of Alkaline's Radio - brilliant. I am not a huge fan of their other stuff though ...
Any fans here? Fav songs?

| God Deciding, Where We Belong, At the End of a Gun, Man the Change...Honestly, the songs I dislike would make for a shorter list. | |
