Dublin gig 21st november

hey anyone here going to the dublin gig on 21st november?

Was thinking about it but im going to the Belfast gig instead

do you think many people will go seein as their not that popular here yet?

I dont think theyll get a full house in the Olymipia but there will probably be a big enough crowd.

Theyve had to move them to a bigger venue in Belfast

It's weird, 18 months ago i saw them play in a not full academy (400 maybe and it holds 600) And now they'll be playing to 3,000 people over 2 nights.

Didn't think they'd sell out in the Olympia but i suppose it shows how much of a fanbase theyve built up here since the release of the '59 Sound really.

Cant wait, Dublin will be the perfect end of the tour for me , meet up with some old Bruce gig buddies, its there 1st GA gigs after me pounding them for 2 years, a few pints AFTER the show , Monday to sleep Manchester and Dublin off .

Im going! SO excited.

Ever since i saw them live in the academy i've become hooked on their live shows.

I was gutted to see they were playing oxegen festival

However much i love TGA i cant justify spending 200 euro for 1 band.


But yeah, spirits on 100% high for this gig

Can't wait either!
But still desperately looking for an extra standing ticket, really want to surprise one of my mates w/ it!

lol, I'm not sure what ticket I have, ticketmaster seem to be super shady with em.

Going to it as well. How strict do you think they'll be with the 'stictly 18+' policy? Would be awful if I didn't get in!

I not sure, i've heard the olympia is a bit strict with those sorta things.

Just try tag along with some older ppl and will be grand prolleh

Anyone up for a saints meetup before this. Partly because it'd be nice to put some faces to names but mostly because we'd be the ones most likely to queue up for 3 hours before the gig and it's just too fricking cold for that. we can keep an eye on the queue from the pub and head over when there's a couple of people there.

i'd be partial to that yeah

Ive heard that the Ulster Hall aren't too strict on over 18s, but im not too sure.

New here.. Going to the Dublin gig aswell its not an 18+ gig dont think it says it on the tickets either

I see, I more or less assumed they actually played it, seeing as it was listed on setlists dot fm, but still a cool song to come out to I guess.
