Well dude, you have to realize they're playing to a crowd that is sitting at least 30 feet away. I wouldn't have that much energy either. haha. Also Brians voice sounded rough and awesome!

They just rocked too hard in San Jose lol. It was much appreciated.

I thought it was great other than the backing vocals were way to quiet.

I was personally hoping for Diamond Church Street Choir given it being the single and all the airplay it's been getting on Sirius, but it was a cool performance.

DCSC is the new single? I have yet to hear it on the radio! I'll be listening for it now

I thought they were perfect. I'm usually a bit disappointed in the background vocals.

No offense but Alex's vocal skills aren't THAT good to be honest, I thought the volume was good =)

i mentioned this in the world cafe thread. i think his backing vocals on this track in particular are absolutely terrible.

I agree, they looked tired or nervous. Lack luster performance. They killed it on Letterman.
