For those of you who were around for our pre-order of The 59 Sound will

posted 500 copies on white and they sold out in 42 minutes. The traffic
to the Side One Dummy store for their exclusive color on blue killed
their online store so they had us post the pre-order on Blue vinyl the

sold nearly 2,000 copies before the album’s street date and helped
contribute to their first week soundscan of 10,000 copies.

From what I've heard (which is conjecture right now)

American Slang:

VC exclusive (500): Less than an hour
No Idea (500): Roughly two hours
Sideonedummy (500): Less than 24 hrs, but given that some people were reluctant to purchase the bundle that isn't two bad.
Euro exclusive (1000): The verdict is still out, as we have no idea how many sites are selling them

Anyone heard anything about anything like shipping dates for our pre-ordered vinyl from No Idea?

I haven't. I'd like to get it by saturday but that's just me.

There's been some issues with SideOneDummy sending out the wrong coloured vinyl.

Apparently they are distributing all the different pressings, starting with their exclusive grey pressing. On receipt a few people have found they have the No Idea pressing instead. S1D have been pretty cool sayin that those in receipt of the wrong order will have the right version sent out and to keep the No Idea exclusive.

Pretty sad to see copies of both the NI & S1D versions appearing on ebay. Don't think anyone should be tempted to spent $100 - 200 until the hype has died down.

there are lots and lots of different copies on ebay.. i think that's sad, people shouldn't make money out of this.. specially if there are people who really like TGA and couldn't get a pre-order because of them..

That makes me even more annoyed that S1D wouldn't honour international orders of their exclusive, unlike VC and NI.

Agreed. Still don't know why we weren't allowed to buy them especially as we were paying for them to be sent to the UK along with the No Idea and VC versions.

Unfortunately, I'm one of the ones who was unable to order a copy of the colored vinyl (I did preorder the black version and the cd though) and I'm in agreement with those above; it is definitely annoying to see people over charging on ebay and just flat out ripping people off, especially when there are so many fans out there who want colored copies (for themselves because they are fans, enjoy the band's music, are collectors, etc...........not to sell or profit from) but were just unable to click a mouse as fast as someone else, who's sole purpose is to profit from and rip another fan off. That sucks!

Anyway, if anyone was fortunate enough to obtain an extra copy of the colored vinyl and would like to help another out and sell for a fairly reasonable price, please let me know. Thanks!

i'm still waiting for my order from no idea...

i emailed someone and they said a couple more days, yeah right.

I'm waiting too... I ordered every variation except for the Euro one and everything has come in except No Idea.

I'm also waiting on vinyl from No Idea (not TGA though......just recieved my AS SOD release) and I'm losing patience day by day.

People in Florida are starting to get their No Idea ones. So most should have them by later next week I would think!

I wish they were sending em out as fast as sideone did. haha
